A touching look at what goes on inside of us weird human beings. Creative and visually beautiful. Core memories are such an important thing for a person to have. Glad to see an animated children's film that isn't afraid to explore headier ideas.

Inside Out is one of the best Pixar movies of all time, perfectly capturing the experience of depression and grief. As someone who constantly moved growing up, I related to Riley's challenges. I cried in the movie theater with this one because the ending hit me so hard. I also love the fact that this movie provided young children with the mental health vocabulary to understand and describe their emotional experiences.

Competent family fun with something to say to younger viewers. The movie is fun and well-paced, with a meaningful message at the core. At the same time, is this the absolute best version of the premise? Probably not.

This is one of the better Pixar films to come out in a long time. The emotion (no pun intended) that this provokes from viewers is heartwrenching. We've all gone through the process of a traumatizing life change and watching Riley cope with that internally is not only relatable but healing. Aside from just being entertaining, you can tell there was love in this project from start to finish.

Pixar Animation's Inside Out tells the story of a little girl named Riley and her emotions. Inside Riley's mind exists the emotions that control her actions: Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear. When Riley is forced to relocate to a new city, her emotions fall out of balance with disastrous results for the young girl's life, prompting the five emotions to work together to help Riley through her troubles.
